Situated in a prime location overlooking Weymouth Harbour, the Royal Dorset clubhouse offers a warm and welcoming environment for members and visitors alike.

Whether you’re enjoying a drink with friends, watching the harbour activity from our windows, attending one of our social events or simply relaxing in comfortable surroundings, the clubhouse is at the heart of Club life.

Our first-floor members’ bar enjoys stunning views across the harbour and provides the perfect setting to meet friends, celebrate special occasions or unwind after a day on the water. The Club’s rich history is reflected throughout the building, with photographs, trophies and memorabilia showcasing over 150 years of sailing heritage.

The clubhouse also benefits from a courtyard garden and marquee area, making it an excellent venue for social gatherings, private celebrations and Club events throughout the year.

The Royal Dorset is more than just a sailing club. With a varied programme of social events, live entertainment, guest speakers, dining experiences and member activities, there is always something happening both on and off the water.

We are also able to assist with private functions and events, working with trusted local caterers to offer a range of catering options to suit your requirements.
