Moorings

The Royal Dorset Yacht Club keeps full tide swinging moorings in Portland Harbour, adjacent to Weymouth Bay.  The moorings lie on the north side of the harbour at the gateway to the South West and ideally placed for a cross-channel day sail. To the east, Poole and the Solent are also an easy day sail away.

Club mooring holders can also make use of the facilities of the nearby Castle Cove Sailing Club.  This includes ferry service to the moorings, a secure car park, slipway, and tender rack.

Club membership is a very cost-effective way to get a mooring in the heart of the Jurassic Coast.  We currently have a limited number of moorings available to new members.
